This is what Atama got to say about the audition:
It was a Marketing & Promo Plan that turned out as part of the show.. Here’s what really happened..
3 days before KK auditions, Rydee calls me and tells me that 8tv Executive wants event support for the auditions. I was in KL then. 24hours before audition i fly back to KK and meet Ihzam Omar and Executives at their tour in KK PLaza. I was supporting this event and recommended our talents to take part.
The Executives asked then asked me if i could give a shoutout and interview with Marion & Awal tele-linked to quickie that night. Naturally i said OK. The cameraman wasn’t ready thou, so they asked me to come to the 2nd day audition to do the shoutout. SO, on the 2nd day, Papichulo, AmberRose & Terence B faced the panel.While Chaque, Carrey and the others faced the jury on the 1st day. Upon arrival to Le Meridian, i was invited to give an 30 minits interview with Blue Hyppo. I then met people from the Hot FM and gave them a promo copy.. I then said thank yous to all of them and headed out of the booth area..
BUT THEN.. the 8tv Crews said “Atama, since you’re here,why don’t you give it a shot?” and said that it’ll only take a few minutes and will head straight to Paul & Shafz as recording artist gets this priviledge.
I thought for few seconds and decided that i’d give it a shot [for promo] even though i wasn’t mentally ready, so i filled out the form and handed it back to them. On the form i wrote “Record Label Owner” - this is how 8tv Homegrown crew got me an arranged the interview the next day at my crib. It was one solid hour. They aired a few seconds from this interview.
Few seconds later, i was called outside for an interview with Awal which lasted 10 minutes..
Anyway, there i was waiting in line.. i realized that i was the very last person on the 2nd day audition!! Then my turn to face them.. here’s what really happened..
Paul: So, who are you..
Me: I’m Andrew, stage name Atama
Paul: We’ve had a few Atama in here today
Me: Somehow i’ve inspired them to rap
Paul: I hope you’re better because they all sucked!
Me: They were my clones..
Paul: Yeah? Well thet were really bad! Well, lets see what you can do
Me: Acapella - THYITA
Both: Silent
Paul: I don’t think you could cut it as a rapper
Me: If i didn’t i wouldn’t have sold 12k units here
Shaf: Wow!!
Both: Silent & Look at each other..
Shaf: Can you try somethin else?
Me: Acapella - In the still of the night
Shaf: I think you shoud stick to rapping
Me: Ok, Thats cool. Just wait for my 2nd album
Paul: Send us a copy..
Me: YOu should buy one when its out..
Paul: Ok.. i buy a copy..
Me: Ok.. Thanks..It didn’t matter much to me as i did it for the fun of it and was positive about it. After all, a bit of PrimeTime TV don’t hurt! Like Ihzam said to me earlier, its a bonus to be on TV! So, now that
Atama & 8tv are friends, i wonder whats next on my Marketing & Promo Plan!
p.s. If Shafinaz had listened to my music as how Paul Moss already heard it last year.. she would have given me an extra hard time; which i wouldn’t mind at all.. i think she’s georgeous and would “guangku mangkakada” with her sexyness anytime..
One In A Million is expected to turn out to be hard to swallow as the 31 Sabahans had a hard time.. just follow the program to see what happened to them in KL .. we should learn from it!

Kalau 8tv suruh atama makan Taik,si atama makan Taik-lah tuuu…A Professional singer/Rapper doesn’t show off his/her skills for promo…he/she must go according to proper channel in order to do that.If atama already sold 12k units,Why do he need promo???Last time that i heard he go to all d clubs here in kk mintak tu dj pasang lagu dia…kalo tu dj tak pasang lagu dia,muka dia tu kalah bos razmatazz(Si Sugumar…a.k.a. tukang kacau bini orang + tak bayar gaji staff)…So Basically…andrew ambrose mudi(Tamahak…opppss..lol)is a disgrace to the Sabah Entertainment Industry…if you want me to buy his album,i think bagus saya beli barang makan…if i buy his album,i will get 3 illness…
